    Alan Bean is unique among the 12 Apollo astronauts who walked on the moon in that he is also a rather skilled artist.
    Apollo: An Eyewitness Account
    is Bean's flagship art collection depicting NASA's triumphant missions to the moon.
    This true first edition / first printing is
    signed by Alan Bean
    without personaliztion directly to the title page.
    This book presents rather nicely but there are flaws:  in particular, the lower corners are bumped causing a crease which translates onto the pages.  Otherwise there's only light wear on the boards and the text / illustrations remain quite beautiful.  The dust jacket has moderate wear but I've added a new mylar cover and it actually looks fantastic.
    And finally, the prior owner attached a rather awesome 8x10 color photo of the entire Apollo 12 crew to the page across from the half-title page (sse my last photo).
    I have priced this book to reflect condition; it is far less expensive than comparables on ebay.
    A nice gift for any space enthusiast!
