    Colonel John P. Stapp 1910 - 1999 Medical doctor with the US Air Force.  Noted for his work on the bends with high altitude flights, deceleration on the human body being rocket shot on a sled at 632 MPH with 46.2 Gs. From this the modern seat belt was developed and they found seating him backward to the movement he has less damage to the body and the backward baby seat came from this.  Signed 4x6 card.
