  • Condition: This amethyst crystal is a sweet "slice" of the inside of a natural geode from Uruguay, South America. The front face features translucent raw jagged terminated amethyst crystal tips. The sides are polished and flat. From the side or cross-cut section of the amethyst you can see the purple crystals sit upon a clearer section of transparent smokey greyish/beige colored quartz. The back is not polished and has a natural matte textured silver/grey color (last picture) Amethyst Provenance/Locality: Uruguay, South America; Hand cut by American lapidary artist, Peter Ehret of The Glass Slipper Lapidary Studios, Texas, USA.
